Our Story

The Alliance has come a long way since its inception in September of 2002.

After starting with a single carrier to help offer coverage to clients, The Alliance has more than a dozen trusted carrier partners to help find the best possible product for each client and each situation.

The rise and growth of The Alliance didn’t happen overnight, but through consistent work and constant improvement the company placed flag as a major player in the insurance industry landscape.

Quickly, it became clear that The Alliance was going to be a force and difference maker in the industry. In 2002, The Alliance became the No. 1 life insurance marketing organization with Shenandoah Life in its first year of existence. It grabbed the same spot with Presidential Life in 2003, the same year the first National Convention was held in North Carolina. The Alliance became No. 1 with Old Mutual Financial Network in 2004 and it surpassed 1,000 applications submitted in a week on Dec. 9, 2004.
Pro Data Research opened its doors in 2004 and the data it produced helped The Alliance surpass the 2,000 applications submitted in a week with 2,141 on June 9, 2005. The Alliance passed the $100 million mark in total insurance premium sold in 2005, and also started offering clients products through Assurity Life Insurance and Foresters – quickly becoming the No. 1 life marketing organization with both carriers.

In September of 2006, Andy Albright was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of The Alliance. It proved to be a big year for the entire company as The Alliance held its Leadership Conference with the grand opening of its 58,000 square foot office and mailing facility in Burlington, N.C.
In 2007, The Alliance surpassed 3,000 applications submitted in a week, started selling annuities through American Equity Life, launched a national campaign to support local cooperative training meetings called HotSpots, and was named the N.C. Triad’s Fastest Growing Company by the Triad Business Journal. It was also the year that our friend John C. Maxwell first spoke to The Alliance at a national event.

The numbers continued being impressive in 2008, as The Alliance passed 500,000 in total submitted applications and $50 million in annuities sales.
Columbian Financial Group and Mutual of Omaha joined the lineup of trusted carriers in 2009, and The Alliance quickly became the top marketing organization with Mutual of Omaha. Pro Data Research begins a new direct mail final expense marketing campaign and helps The Alliance keep growing at a time when economists are predicting economic doom and gloom for businesses throughout the United States. A second building – blocks away from the main corporate campus – became an additional 20,000 office space for The Alliance, where a burgeoning call center operates from with outbound and inbound customer service for those responding to advertisements for term life insurance and mortgage protection.

Andy Albright kicked off 2012 with the release of his second book, Millionaire Maker Manual – a blueprint for being successful with The Alliance, and The Alliance hit a major milestone in 2013 when it hit the $100 billion in coverage submitted and passed the 1 million submitted applications mark. The best news? There are still more families that need coverage!

With that being said, The Alliance is by no means done evolving and growing as a company. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished over the years, but we are always looking forward to the next achievement.

We need to help more families and that means we need more agents to help us do that. Want to join us?
